As a teenager, I came across Robert Doisneau's The Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville. What captivated me wasn't simply the couple at its center, but the world around them. The city rushes by in a blur of movement and noise, yet the two lovers seem untouched by it all. Their connection is so complete that, for a brief moment, time stands still.

 

Little did I know that years later I would be living in Paris myself, walking the same streets that inspired generations of photographers. That photograph taught me something I still believe today: photography is not about freezing a moment. It is about preserving its life. The laughter between two people, the way a hand finds another, the feeling of being together in a city that seems to move faster than ever.

When I photograph couples in Paris, I want to create more than beautiful images. I want to give you a living memory of the city. Not a postcard version of Paris, but your Paris - the streets you wandered, the conversations you shared, the quiet moments between the landmarks. Years from now, I want you to look at your photographs and remember not only how the city looked, but how it felt to be there together.​

 

Because long after the trip is over, long after the seasons have changed, those moments remain. And photography gives them a place to live.
